Kossoff...The Band Plays On

Terry Slesser's Tribute to Koss (ex-Back Street Crawler.)

Forty years on since Paul Kossoff, one of Britain’s finest guitarists, tragically passed away at the tender age of 25 in 1976. Singer Terry Slesser, the voice of Kossoff's critically acclaimed post-Free band Back Street Crawler, and a close friend of Koss, keeps the memory of one of the greatest British Blues guitarist and his music alive.

13th October

Marcus Bonfanti

From the first note of Led Zeppelin’s “Black Dog” sixteen-year-old Marcus Bonfanti knew he wanted to be a guitar player.

His 2008 debut album, ‘Hard Times,’ set the scene and sent some subtly effective messages about a new British voice demanding to be heard. The critical acclaim that both albums received earned him the 2012 British Blues Award for Best Songwriter and the 2013 & 2014 Award for Best Acoustic performer as well as nominations in Guitarist, Vocalist & Album categories for the last four years.

13th October

Jack J Hutchinson

Jack J Hutchinson is a London based guitarist and singer songwriter. Described by Classic Rock Blues Magazine as “One to watch. Born to sing soul and blues”, in 2015 and 2016 he was nominated for a British Blues Award.

“Tough, immediate and rockin’. Hutchinson was born to sing soul and blues.” (Classic Rock Blues Magazine)

"Thank you everybody! Sedgefield Rock and Blues Club is undoubtedly one of the best clubs, and set ups, on the circuit. We don't play many ()if any) clubs these days as Jo generally gets asked to play theatres but we were happy to make an exception to come visit the good people at Sedgefield on our agent's Mike Hellier's firm recommendation "
