Stevie Nimmo be happier and have more energy and enthusiasm than ever before at the sell out gig at Sedgefield Rock and Blues Club last night.
Playing songs mostly from his new album "Sky Wont Fall" and from the "Wynds of Life" album, Stevie and the band kept the audience enthralled and always wanting more with a fine set of songs that were meaningful amd melodic.
The band, Mat Beable on bass and Craig Bacon on drums, provided Stevie with the perfect backdrop for his fine vocals and gifted guitar playing, and all 3 of them seemed to be enjoying playing as much as the audience enjoyed listening to them.
Last nights support came from Reece Hillis, Reece has a remarkable voice and is a talented song writer, and I am certain we will be seeing a lot more of this young man in the future.
You could hear a pin drop during his performance as the audience were captivated by his soulful and passionate delivery of a blend of his own material and blues/rock classics.
The sound and lighting last night were superb, and thanks to CDB Production Solutions for all of their hard work.
Not forgetting Garry Jacobs, John Tate, Matt Wilson, Rob Moran, Viv Jacobs, and all the other volunteers at the club.
Many thanks to John Finlayson for the superb images and video footage.
